Clifton Historic Botany Village Special Improvement District Announces Leadership Team

Clifton, NJ: The Clifton Historic Botany Village Special Improvement District is pleased to announce its leadership team as the organization begins a new chapter focused on continued growth, collaboration, and new opportunities for Historic Botany Village.

Following a unanimous vote by the Board of Trustees, George Silva will serve as President of the Clifton Historic Botany Village Special Improvement District. Silva is announcing the District’s leadership team as the organization moves forward with a renewed focus on supporting local businesses, strengthening community partnerships, and continuing the growth of Historic Botany Village.

Silva will work alongside Vice President Richard Mejia, Secretary Gloria Vidal, and Treasurer Joe Fabi as the District’s leadership team. Together, they will continue working with the Board of Trustees, local businesses, community partners, residents, the City of Clifton, and Passaic County to strengthen Historic Botany Village.

“I am proud to announce our leadership team and excited about what we can accomplish together,” said George Silva, President of the Clifton Historic Botany Village Special Improvement District. “We have a strong Board of Trustees and a dedicated leadership team. Everyone brings something important to the table, and we are committed to working together to move Historic Botany Village forward.”

Under Silva’s leadership, the District will continue to focus on supporting local businesses, expanding community events, pursuing grant funding, developing new partnerships, and identifying opportunities for improvements throughout Historic Botany Village.

One of the District’s priorities will be identifying and pursuing grant funding and other funding opportunities that can help support future projects, beautification efforts, business initiatives, events, and community programs. The leadership team will work closely with the Board of Trustees and community partners to find new resources and opportunities for the Village.

“There is a lot of potential in Historic Botany Village, and we want to continue building on the work that has already been done,” Silva said. “Our goal is to do more, plan more, and find new ways to bring resources and opportunities into the Village. We have a strong team, and I am looking forward to working with our Board, our businesses, and our community as we move into this next chapter.”

The Clifton Historic Botany Village Special Improvement District remains committed to preserving the unique character and history of the Village while creating new opportunities for economic growth, community engagement, and investment.

With George Silva serving as President, alongside Richard Mejia, Gloria Vidal, and Joe Fabi, the District is moving forward with a strong and dedicated leadership team prepared to continue the momentum of Historic Botany Village.
