Clifton Historic Botany Village Special Improvement District Bids Farewell to Margaret Kardasz

Clifton, NJ: The Clifton Historic Botany Village Special Improvement District would like to extend its sincere appreciation and best wishes to Margaret Kardasz, owner of George’s Coffee Shop, as she bids farewell following more than 10 years of dedicated service to the Historic Botany Village community.

Margaret began her involvement with the Clifton Historic Botany Village Special Improvement District as a member of the Board of Trustees a few years before the COVID-19 pandemic. During her years of service, she took on greater responsibilities within the organization and ultimately served as President of the Board of Trustees.

As President, Margaret provided valuable leadership during an important period for Historic Botany Village and helped guide the District’s efforts to support local businesses, promote community initiatives, and strengthen the Historic Botany Village business community.

In addition to her leadership with the District, Margaret has been a longtime business owner in Historic Botany Village as the owner of George’s Coffee Shop. Her dedication to her business and the community has made her a familiar and valued part of the neighborhood for more than a decade.

The Clifton Historic Botany Village Special Improvement District is grateful for Margaret’s many years of service, leadership, and commitment. Her contributions as a Trustee and later as President have helped shape the District and its work on behalf of Historic Botany Village.

As Margaret begins her next chapter, the Clifton Historic Botany Village Special Improvement District remains in a strong position with a dedicated and experienced Board of Trustees. With new leadership in place, the District’s commitment to supporting local businesses, strengthening the business community, and continuing the momentum of Historic Botany Village remains stronger than ever.

The transition in leadership represents a continuation of the District’s work, not a pause. The Board of Trustees remains united in its commitment to Historic Botany Village, and under the leadership of President George Silva, the District looks forward to building upon the progress and accomplishments of recent years while continuing to create new opportunities for local businesses and the community.
